A. At local rehab hospitals
Step 1. Questionnaire and Vision Screening Tests (QVST):
- The tests will be performed for all patients visiting the hospital.
- The data will be analysed by the Project Control Center (PCC).
Step 2. Eye Screening Examination:
- Those with vision problems discovered by QVST will be checked for eye screening examination.
- The examination will include eye position, eye movement test, and non-mydriatic fundus photography. Optional examination will include slit-lamp microscopic examination of the anterior part of the eyes.
- The data will be analyzed by PCC.
Step 3. Optometry examinations:
- In the case that there is a need of vision therapy, as determined by PCC, systemic optometrical examinations will be taken. This will include refractive examination, accommodation and convergence tests, and stereo-vision tests.
Step 4. Full Vision Function Test:
- The test will be performed by using VisionBuilder.
- The data from the test will be analyzed by PCC.
- A treatment plan will be provided by PCC.
- Referral to PCC might be needed with complicated cases.
Step 5. Vision Therapy:
- Vision Therapy will be performed by the local hospital staff with the supervision of PCC.
- The process will be monitored by PCC.
- The progress will be analyzed by PCC.
- Amending of the treatment plan might be needed in the process of the therapy.
B. At the Project Control Center
A. Platform–as–a-Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS):
- Online Electron Medical Recording and Archiving System (namely MedLink Professional) and online Vision Therapy Software (namely VisionBuilder) will be provided as service for associate hospitals;
B. Professional Training Service will be provided to the staff of associate hospitals.
C. Data Analysis Service and Treatment Planing Service.
D. Technical supports, Tele-consultation and Quality Control Service
E. Receiving referrals from associate hospitals
